I find it so annoying when people talk about my decision to go to SFSU and basically say I made a mistake. Well I didn’t make a mistake. I knew the pros and cons when I made my decision. I already made up my mind to go there over a month ago. It’s no use bringing it back up again. It won’t change anything. It’s done with. I can’t go back and change my mind now and even if I had the choice to do so, I wouldn’t. You don’t have to support my decision to go there. Just respect it. You may think that I am too young to go so far away for college but it’s going to be a good learning experience for me. How else am I suppose to learn and grow if I stay at home and have my parents baby me all the time. Just trust my decision on this. And if it doesn’t work out, then you can say I told you so. You make it sound like it’s the worst thing in the world. Well, it’s a good thing that I am going there and you aren’t. I am excited to go there in the fall and I’m not going to let anyone’s opinion ruin that. And please keep your opinions to yourself about what I want to major in and what I want to do in the future. Again, it’s a good thing that I’m doing whatever I decide to do in my future and not you. I appreciate your concern but it’s a little too little too late.
